Q: What kind of bike do I need in order to use a Cyclone kit? A: Cyclone DIY Bicycle Motor kits are designed to work with most all 26" mountain bikes and 20" folding bikes. Our universal mounting bracket will bolt into the space between the bike's bottom bracket (the tube that holds the crank bearings) and the rear wheel. Bikes that have at least 3.25" of distance in this area can easily be fitted with the kit using the supplied universal bracket.
